Definition of Pronoun in Hindi

Pronoun (सर्वनाम) Parts of speech दूसरा (Second) भाग है। Pronoun का उपयोग वाक्य में Noun (संज्ञा) के स्थान पर किया जाता है। जब वाक्य में Noun का उपयोग हो जाये और वाक्य में Noun का उपयोग दूबारा हो तो उस स्थान पर Pronoun का उपयोग होता है।

सर्वनाम किसे कहते हैं ?

संज्ञा (Noun) के स्थान पर प्रयोग किए जानेे शब्दों को सर्वनाम (Pronoun) कहते हैं।

इन वाक्यों में Ashok, Lata शब्द Noun है। उन Nouns के स्थान पर दूसरे वाक्यों में क्रमशः He, She का प्रयोग किया गया है जोकि Pronoun का कार्य कर रहे हैं।

Personal Pronoun (पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम)

Personal Pronoun (पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा हिन्दी में :- जो सर्वनाम (Pronoun) किसी व्यक्ति, पशु अथवा वस्तु के लिए प्रयोग हो उसे Personal Pronoun (पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Personal Pronoun (पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा इंग्लिश में :- The pronouns that are particularly used to denote the nouns of first person second person and third person are called Personal Pronouns.

Personal Pronoun (पुरुषवाचक सर्वनाम) के उदाहरण (Examples)

  • You have a watch.
  • We went to the temple.
  • I am a boy.
  • It is a new pen.

उपरोक्त वाक्यों में You, We और I से व्यक्ति तथा It से वस्तु का बोध होता है। इसलिए ये Personal Pronoun है। ये सब Noun (संज्ञा) के स्थान पर आते हैं।

Types of Personal Pronoun

Peraonal Pronoun तीन प्रकार के होते हैं।

  • First Person (उत्तम पुरुष)
  • Second Person (मध्यम पुरुष)
  • Third Person (अन्य पुरुष)

अब हम Personal Pronoun के प्रकार को विस्तार से पढ़ेंगे।

First Person (उत्तम पुरुष)

First Person (उत्तम पुरुष) की परिभाषा :- इसका प्रयोग बात कहने वाले व्यक्ति के लिए किया जाता है; जैसे – I (मैंं), We (हम) |

Second Person (मध्यम पुरुष)

Second Person (मध्यम पुरुष) की परिभाषा :- इसका प्रयोग बात सुनने वाले व्यक्तियोंं के लिए किया जाता हैं; जैसे – Thou (तूू), You (तुम) |

Third Person (अन्य पुरुष)

Third Person (अन्य पुरुष) की परिभाषा :- इसका प्रयोग उस व्यक्ति, स्थान, पशु तथा वस्तु लिए किया जाता है जिसके विषय में कोई बात कही जाती है; जैसे – He, She, It (वह); They (वे) |

Note :-

  • आजकल Thou, thee, thy, thine का प्रयोग नहीं होता हैं।
  • You का प्रयोग Singular और Plural दोनों में होता हैं।
  • It का प्रयोग छोटे जानवरों तथा वस्तुओं के लिए किया जाता हैं।

Interrogative Pronoun (प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम)

Interrogative Pronoun (प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जिन सर्वनाम से प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य बनते हैं या प्रश्न पूछने का काम करते हैं उन्हें Interrogative pronoun (प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Definition of Interrogative Pronoun in English :- The pronoun that are used to ask question are known as Interrogative pronoun.They are often used as interrogative words.

Interrogative Pronoun (प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम) के Examples

  • Who is there ?
  • Whom do you like ?
  • Whose cycle is this ?

NOTE – वाक्यों में who, whom, whose ऐसी सर्वनाम है जिन से वाक्य प्रश्नवाचक बनते हैं। इसलिए ये प्रश्नवाचक सर्वनाम हैं। इन्हें Question words भी कहते हैं।

यह Interrogative pronoun व्यक्ति तथा वस्तुओं के लिए प्रयोग किए जाते हैं। जैसे who, whom, whose व्यक्ति के लिए what तथा which वस्तु के लिए प्रयोग होते हैं। who (कौन या किसने) कर्ता के स्थान पर आता है।

Whom कर्म के स्थान पर आता है तथा whose (किसकी, किसके) का प्रयोग Possessive Case के स्थान पर होता है तथा what और which कर्ता तथा कर्म दोनों के स्थान पर प्रयोग किए जाते हैं।

Relative Pronoun (संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम)

Relative Pronoun (संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जो सर्वनाम दो उपवाक्यों को जोड़ता है और अपने से पूर्व प्रयुक्त हुए Noun का आगे के उपवाक्य से संबंध प्रकट करता है उसे Relative Pronoun (संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Definition of Relative Pronoun in English :- The pronoun that is used as a conjunction in a sentence (meaning is to say that pronoun that is used to combine two or more than two clauses/Sentences) is known as Relative Pronoun.

Relative Pronoun (संबंधवाचक सर्वनाम) के Examples

  • This is the boy who got the price.
  • That is the horse, whom I love very much.
  • Those are the pens, which you bought.

इन उदाहरण में who, whom, whose, which शब्द दो उपवाक्य को जोड़ते हैं और अपने से पहले लगे हुए Noun से संबंध प्रकट करते हैं। इन्हें इसलिए Relative Pronoun कहते हैं।

Note :- जिस Noun या Pronoun के साथ Relative Pronoun संबंध प्रकट करता है वह उसका Antecedent होता है। यह भी ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि Relative Pronoun का Number तथा Gender सदैव उसके Antecedent के अनुसार होता है।

Demonstrative Pronoun(संकेतवाचक सर्वनाम)

Demonstrative Pronoun(संकेतवाचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जो सर्वनाम (Pronoun) किसी संज्ञा (Noun) की ओर संकेत करते हैं, उन्हें Demonstrative Pronoun (संकेतवाचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Definition of Demonstrative Pronoun in English :- The pronoun that are used to the point out or indicate or demostrate a person or thing are called Demonstrative Pronouns.

Demonstrative Pronoun(संकेतवाचक सर्वनाम) के Examples

  • This is my house.
  • That is a mango tree.
  • These are shirts.

इन वाक्यों में This, house की ओर That, Tree की ओर, These, Shirts की ओर संकेत कर रहे हैं। अतः यह तीनों Demonstrative Pronoun है।

NOTE :- इन Pronoun (सर्वनाम) की तुरंत पश्चात क्रिया ही लगाई जाती है।

Distributive Pronoun (विभागसूचक सर्वनाम)

Distributive Pronoun (विभागसूचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जो pronoun वाक्य में प्रयोग किए गये व्यक्तियों या वस्तु में से प्रत्येक को सूचित करता है, उसे Distributive Pronoun (विभागसूचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Definition of Distributive Pronoun (विभागसूचक सर्वनाम) in English :-The pronouns that are used to show distribution(one by one) are known as distributive pronoun.when each either and neither are used as pronoun, they are called Distributive Pronouns.

Distributive Pronoun (विभागसूचक सर्वनाम) के Examples

  • Takes either of these two pens.
  • Neither of the two came here.
  • Each of us can play a part in building new India.
  • None can help you.
  • Any of these five girls may take it.

उपरोक्त वाक्यों में Either, neither, each, none, any शब्द Distributive Pronounहैं। यहां यह भी स्पष्ट है कि either और neither का प्रयोग दो के लिए, each का प्रयोग दो या दो से अधिक के लिए, any और none का प्रयोग दो से अधिक के लिए किया जाता है।

Indefinite Pronoun (अनिश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम)

Indefinite Pronoun (अनिश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जिन pronoun से किसी निश्चित व्यक्ति या वस्तु का बोध नहीं होता है वे Indefinite Pronoun (अनिश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम) कहलाता हैं।

Indefinite Pronoun Pronoun in English :- The pronoun that refers to persons or things in a general way and does not refer to any person or thing in particular is known as Indefinite pronoun.

Indefinite Pronoun (अनिश्चयवाचक सर्वनाम) के Examples

  • Some boys were playing in the park.
  • All were happy.
  • Nobody come to see him
  • .One must do one’s duty.
  • Many of the students were absent.
  • None of his brothers helped him.

उपर्युक्त वाक्यों में some, all, nobody, one, many, none, शब्दों से किसी निश्चित व्यक्ति या वस्तु का बोध नहीं होता। अतः ये सब Indefinite Pronouns हैं।

Reflexive Pronoun (निजवाचक सर्वनाम)

Reflexive Pronoun (निजवाचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जिस Pronoun से कार्य का प्रभाव कर्ता पड़ना प्रकट होता है, अन्य किसी पर नहीं, उसे Reflexive Pronoun (निजवाचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Definition of Reflexive Pronoun in English :- The pronouns that turn back or reflect and denote the subject of the sentence are called Reflexive Pronoun.

NOTE :- ये Personal Pronoun में self या selves लगा कर बने जाते हैं।

Reflexive Pronoun (निजवाचक सर्वनाम) के Examples

  • I saw my self in the mirror.
  • He hid himself in a cave.
  • She hurt herself.
  • You received yourself.
  • We taught ourselves to swim

इन वाक्य में myself, yourselves, himself, itslef, themselves इनका । प्रयोग वाक्य में object की तरह होता है और ये Reflexive Pronoun हैं।

Emphatic Parnoun (दृढ़तासूचक सर्वनाम)

Emphatic Parnoun (दृढ़तासूचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जिस Pronoun का प्रयोग दृढ़ता दिखाने अथवा जोर डालने के लिए किया जाता है उसे इन Emphstic Pronoun (दृढ़तासूचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Definition of Emphatic Parnoun in English :- The pronouns that are used to emphasize something are called Emphatic Pronoun.

NOTE :- Refilexive Pronoun की तरह Emphatic Pronoun भी Personal Pronoun में self या selves लगाने से बनते हैं।

Emphatic Parnoun (दृढ़तासूचक सर्वनाम) के Examples

  • I myself saw the thief.
  • You yourself should go there.
  • He himself will do it.
  • She herself cooked the food.
  • They themselves come here.

उपर्युक्त वाक्यों में myself, yourself, himself, themselves शब्द Emphatic Pronoun हैं। Emphatic Pronoun करता के ठीक बाद आते हैं इनका प्रयोग सामान्यता कर्ता के Case in Apposition की तरह होता है। यदि इन्हें वाक्यों में से हटा दिया जाए तो भी वाक्य से पूर्ण भाव प्रकट होता है।

Reciprocal Pronoun (परस्परसूचक सर्वनाम)

Reciprocal Pronoun (परस्परसूचक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जो Pronoun परस्पर संबंध प्रकट करते हैं उन्हें Reciprocal Pronoun (परस्परसूचक सर्वनाम) कहते हैं।

Definition of Reciprocal Pronoun in English :- The pronouns that show mutul relation among themselves are known as Reciprocal Pronoun. ‘Each other’ and ‘One another’ are known as Reciprocal Pronouns.

Reciprocal Pronoun (परस्परसूचक सर्वनाम) के प्रकार

Reciprocal Pronoun (परस्परसूचक सर्वनाम) 02 प्रकार के होते हैं।

  1. Each other
  2. One another

Each other और One another इनका अर्थ होता है ‘एक दूसरे की’ इनमें से Each other का प्रयोग दो के लिए तथा One another का प्रयोग दो से अधिक के लिए किया जाता है।

Exclamatrory Pronoun (विस्मयादिबोधक सर्वनाम) की परिभाषा :- जब वाक्य में ‘what’ का प्रयोग विस्मय या आश्चर्य प्रकट करता है तो यह Exclamatory Pronoun(विस्मयादिबोधक सर्वनाम) कहलाता है।

Definition of Exclamatrory Pronoun (विस्मयादिबोधक सर्वनाम) in English :- The pronoun that are used to an exclamation is called an Exclamatory Pronoun.

Exclamatrory Pronoun (विस्मयादिबोधक सर्वनाम) Examples

  • What! You have you lost your bag.
  • What! He has failed.

इन दोनों वाक्यों में ‘what’ का प्रयोग विस्मय प्रकट करने के लिए किया गया है, अतः दोनों वाक्य में what exclamatory pronoun है।
